Shaw and Crompton Health Centre

Minor refurbishment was undertaken to replace all dilapidated windows and curtain walling and change the use of a practice manager’s office to a clinical room.

Work took place between February and March 2012.

Previous works undertaken April-May 2011

On behalf of NHS Oldham, Community 1st Oldham refurbished several existing rooms which had been used as store rooms, and converted them into examination rooms. This involved removing walls to create larger rooms, installing new windows for natural lighting, re-decorating, laying new vinyl floors, installing new data points, new power points and new lighting.

The work was carried out at weekends and evenings to minimise disruption. The project was completed on time and within budget.
