Oldham Medical Centres Progressing Well

The construction and development of two new medical centres in Oldham, Hollinwood Medical Practice and Delph Medical Centre are progressing well and are on course to complete in the summer.

Hollinwood Medical Practice is being developed by North and Partners Technical under a partnership with Community 1st Oldham and community integrated care service, Hope Citadel and will support the next generation of doctors by using the practice as a GP training centre containing two training rooms as well as six examination rooms, a clinical group room to support community activities, a minor procedures room and a counselling room; together with all necessary admin and staff support spaces.

Delph Medical Centre is being developed by Community 1st Oldham on behalf of Saddleworth Medical Practice and will provide improved facilities for both staff and patients with flexibility built into the design to allow for re-configuring spaces if required in the future, and the ability to use and share space for several purposes.
