Chadderton Wellbeing Centre opens to the public

Good news for the people of Chadderton as Chadderton Wellbeing Centre opens to the public on Monday 30th November.

This fantastic new centre has a range of modern community facilities including a 25 metre swimming pool, library, gym and aerobics studio, cafe and community meeting rooms, all brought together in a unique, state-of-the-art new building.

An opening weekend will take place on Friday 4th to Sunday 6th December to give people a chance to have a look around the building and see the services available. Guided tours of the centre will be available and lots of fun family activities such as a climbing wall, raffle and a writer’s workshop in the library will take place over the three days.

The Wellbeing centre, the first of its kind in Oldham, brings together a range of organisations, including a community police support officer base and key council services, under one roof as well as leisure and library facilities, to deliver key joined-up services at a local level.

Oldham Council, Oldham Community Leisure and Community 1st Oldham look forward to welcoming everyone to the new centre.
